so here's what's new. I'm back from New York. while i was there i saw the city for the first time and it was amazing!! I'm in love and i WILL live there. on the down side while i was visiting central park i tripped over a pidgin in front of Justen Long (the guy from the mak commercials) and i have to ask, A: who trips over pidgins and B: who does it in the background of a chick flick? i did have the good fortune of having a private driver while i was there and got to see some amazing things. when i get around to it, ill post some of the pictures, the whole city is beautiful in my opinion. i don't know if anyone has had a chance to see the new convention center, but it's worth checking out, it's all wavy and shiny and stuff. very artsy.
i visited my dream school and i have to say it's perfect. i have to go. it's a little tiny school called Marrymount Manhattan. located on 71st and 3rd. on the upper east side. its in an upscale neighborhood surrounded by brownstones and tiny little shops. i didn't want to leave. they have an extraordinary art program and their dance program feeds into Broadway. right now the big thing they're pushing is that the head honcho at HBO graduated from there.
needless to say my dad had to drag me from the city when it was time to go. i did not go willingly.
since then i have started another semester here in CO. I'm taking Western civ. till 1603, Art History to 1600, Drawing 1 and 2 dimensional design. all are going well except for western civ. hence the procrastination right now.
medically speaking things are not so well going. not so well going at all. of coarse everything was going great for a while, which generally dictates that something god auffol is coming. and sure enough, the craps his the fans again. I've been having horrible pain in my knee recently and went to see a doctor today. it wasn't good news. I'm signed up for an MRI, they think that I've managed to rip a meniscus horn. didn't even know i had those. of coarse that can be fixed. surgically. super, that would bring my tally to 6 surgeries all together now. and all of this came to light last week when the tibia in my left leg twisted. again something i was completely unaware could happen. but surprise! it can. hence the title of this journal.
in lighter news, i bought a robotic arm this week. i don't know why. but i did. so it's coming in the mail from japan. it has to be assembled and then programed.I'm looking forward to getting it. i miss robotics, i used to be really good at programing and building robots in middle school and early high school and then i just stopped doing it. didn't have time i guess. so anyway, once i get that built I'll try and get a video of it up somewhere so you can all see my technological genius. (not haha).
sorry there's so much stuff here. thanks as always for reading and watching!
